never forget the land you came from
Date: 1.12.18
I grew up with anxiety every single day at a very high level. When people see me they say “he's very confident.” Well, I’m more confident than you could probably even imagine. I’m decidedly more than sure. So I can say weird things. But I had so much anxiety because I was taken from my land.

Some of us have a concept of our land which is very interesting. For me, if I think back to my memories of Persia, I would have left there now. Why do I choose to call it Persia? I don't call it Iran because the government's change made it that name, but we were the Persian Empire.

And I take a lot of pride in that history. I almost take no pride in the current account. Actually, to be honest, I do have some pride because the people there I know what they had gone through to just survive. When I think about my country, just that concept, I see images in my mind. My emotions kick in. I get so emotional. This doesn't make any sense, because the last time I saw it, I was eight years old. I left it when I was four and a half and then by 8 I visited it once for a month. That was the last time I saw that land. I'm in America now.

There was a feeling when I landed in America. It's different. Until the plane touches down the surface, I just died at this point in my head because I hate flying. But then when you land, you feel something. I had a lot of experience in LA with my teacher Manu.

You all have this perception, but I'm not sure how I use it in my craft. This is what I do. I communicate right then I go. And then when you hit your own area, you know the streets. You're like that's my street or wherever. There's another feeling. All day we go through all of these wormholes of time, and we miss it. But you pay attention to things. If you ever go to a new area, you're looking for a new address.I grew up with anxiety every single day at a very high level.
