The Art Of Peace
Date: 28.12.18
Today's book was a last-minute pick as I looked over there and I saw it. It's called “The Art of Peace”. However, it's written by a samurai. His name was Morihei Ueshiba, I have a tattoo on my arm that says Ueshiba. He became known as o Sensei, which means the great teacher.

He was the founder of Aikido and I have been fascinated by O Sensei because when I was studying the martial arts, I was one hundred percent committed to it. Everything was martial arts. I read everything I could and he was one of those characters that was alive in the 50s and was doing things that seemed legendary.

For example, they said he would dodge bullets. I know it sounds crazy. Then they said he could throw people without touching them. They said you couldn't move him even though he was like four foot seven. So I became so fascinated because I always tried to find the secrets of life through martial arts, and I figured someone like that would have it, so I became a scholar of Ueshiba.

As I begin practicing Taekwondo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. This book is very deep. His own students didn't understand them, but I'm just going to read and you get what you get out of it now, I'm not going go page by page. All right, here we go. He says “Each and every master regardless of the era or place heard the call and attained harmony with Heaven and Earth. There are many paths leading to the peak of Mount Fuji.

But the goal is the same there are many methods of reaching the top and they all bring us to the heights. There is no need to battle with each other. We are all brothers and sisters who should walk the path together hand in hand. Keep to your path. And nothing else will matter when you lose your desire for things that do not matter. You will be free.” That is so beautiful because I was literally teaching this to Electra today. Here we go one more time.

It is Page 64 “Each and every Master regardless of the era or place heard the call and attained harmony with Heaven and Earth. There are many paths leading to the peak of Mount Fuji. But the goal is the same. There are many methods of reaching to the top. But they all bring us to the heights.

There is no need to battle with each other. We are all brothers and sisters who should walk the path together hand in hand keep to your path and nothing else will matter when you lose your desire for things that do not matter you will be free.” You killed it with that one sensai! The next passage is very small. I'm going to read you this very small passage.

Now remember it's called The Art Peace. You just heard how he spoke. “Never fear another challenger no matter how large, never despise another challenger no matter how small.” This motherfucker was on some God level shit. I'm telling you. Take it from one who's been there done that not in the martial arts. Never fear another challenger no matter how large. Never despise another challenger no matter how small. It's called “The Art of Peace” All right, let's keep going. Next passage is super short.

But it's very deep again. “Large does not always defeat little, little can become large by constant building. Large can become little by falling apart.” Son of a fucking bitch. Welcome to IMC fucking Nation. This shit grows and grows and grows and ain't nobody stopping it if you knew if. One more time “Large does not always defeat little, little can become large by constant building. Large can become little by falling apart.” Thank you Sensei.

The next passage is small. So this guy is a Warrior see you read “The Art of Peace” with a circle like a Zen symbol. If you don't know who Sensai is, he was one of the greatest warriors that ever lived. It's coming from that perspective. He says on this one. “Loyalty and devotion lead to bravery. Bravery leads to the spirit of self-sacrifice. The spirit of self-sacrifice creates trust In the power of love.”

How many women out there want to feel loved, every hand goes up all the way to the ceiling. How many of you know, you're never gonna fucking feel it? Again, hands all the way up to the ceiling, again because you never felt it. Okay, love is something you have to create inside of you first. You're looking outside. You ain't going to get it. Now, O Sensei gives us a formula here that we're going to try.
